Brave Woman Analysis
What are the ironies present in the poem "Brave Woman"? "I am a mother of sons. Two joined the army when they were young; There was not enough money for school, They had no skills for job in foundries And factories, and it was easy to sign up And learn how to handle a gun." ***For me, it is very ironic that a person would take the military his last option for a living. Even if you are not built for factory jobs and foundry works, there are still many ways to get money for food or to suffice the needs of the daily lives. Unless, the environment pushes you to do that (for example, when there is war and there is a need for civil army or military).
