Cars The main part in a car is the engine. With out the engine the car will not be able to move unless something or someone pushes it. A car also needs gasoline to move without someone pushing it. The reason that someone mad gasoline powered car is to convert gasoline into motion so that the car can move. To make gasoline into motion you will have to burn it inside of the engine. So as people call the car engine’s an internal combustion engine. There are a lot of different types of internal combustion engines. They have diesel engines, gas turbine engines, hemi engines, rotary engines, and two stroke engines. All of them are different from each other some of them are good in one part and bad in another part. They also have something called external combustion engine. It is only one engine that fits in this category which is a steam engine. A steam engine is mostly in old fashion trains.
