“Australian films are as clearly identifiable as the Australian people. Australian characters within films are their defining characteristic.” This means that Australian people have a certain charteristicc to themselves. One of them might be our accient which seems normal to ourselves but is different and sounds funny to other people outside Australia such as new zelanders. We also have a sense of humour such has tolilet humour and things such as new zelanders with their sheep. This seems funny to ourselves but other people might not find it amusing. In the beginning of the movie it starts off with an aboriginal painting. You can tell this by the colours and the paint used and where it is painted, such as on a rock.
