Beowulf – The Perfect Hero I remember the time of my first lifting competition. ... Without his emotional toughness, Beowulf could have never had the courage to even make the journey to Herot, much less fight two terrorizing monsters. An example of his mental and physical toughness is when Beowulf swims to the bottom of the swampy lake to find Grendel’s home. ...
