The island of Cyprus is the biggest in the Mediterranean Sea being one of the most beautiful tourist resorts in Europe. However, because of its natural beauty but more over its strategic position, Cyprus attracted many people in the past with Turkey being the most recent. In 1974, Turkey invaded Cyprus accomplishing to conquer the 40% of Cyprus beauty. Nevertheless, I would like to discuss if the fact that Cyprus’ economy is very dependant on tourism a good thing. Therefore, to take place on this debate, I must mention the advantages and disadvantages that Cyprus’ economy will face or is facing these days from Tourism. As, I have mentioned above, tourism is really important for Cyprus’ economy as many companies relies on tourism such a hotels, restaurants, clubs and bar, especially in the sea sight. As a result of the fact, hat all the cities of Cyprus are on the sea sight, Cyprus developed tourist industry. However this is the most important advantage of Cyprus economy as many places for jobs are in summer. Obviously, that helps the economy because more people work increasing the cost of living of the country.
