UNICEF has been around for a while now making the world an easier place to live in by helping out the less fortunate. UNICEF deals with many problems around the world. First of all you wonder how did UNICEF start? How does UNICEF work? And how they spend their money? Well in the next couple of paragraphs all of those questions will be answered. UNICEF first started its work in 1946 in Europe. When UNICEF was first created in 1946, it was meant to just be a temporary organization helping out the United Nations. It was mostly created to deal with the emergency caused by World War II. It had been set up after the war to try to keep peace. It is still one of UNICEF’s main goals to respond to the suffering caused by war and natural disaster.
