1> Oppression is the deprivation of power and privilege of one group. Generally oppressor are Dominant group of the Society and oppresses are the minority group. Oppression leads to condition of inequality, exploitation and social injustice. The society and politics are the essence of oppression. Both the society and the politics put barriers that prevent certain groups of people from reaching their full potential. Slavery from the past and discrimination from the present are the form of oppression. People of colored always have been oppressed by the society and the politics. Whether it is everyday racism or institutional racism it creates the environment of partinism in the society. The institutional racism allocates the power, prestige and privilege based on the race. Differences of represent by race can be seen on the employment, political candidate and income level. Higher levels of government or chief executives of NASDAC listed company are almost occupied by white Anglo Saxon People. People of colored have limited access to those higher jobs. In the United States, the social class system is marked by difference in wealth and income and power. More wealth and power has the ability to influence and to dominant other. For example groups with vast amount of wealth have the ability to influence systems like media and political process in ways that less powerful groups are controlled. Our politics is almost control by leaders of largest co operation and certain elite politician. Any decision of welfare or money investing program of government is influenced by upper powerful class. The advantages of those programs are relatively higher to rich people than poor. For example corporate welfare relatively goes to richer and white people because majority of cooperation in the united state are owned by whites. It is also known that, for the class oppression; race and gender also play somehow important role.
