When my parents’ or grandparents’ were growing up, they did not have commercials or risqué television shows and movies telling them what the “cool” thing is to do. ... Today we are surrounded by advertisements and pop stars who try to influence us and the second teenagers think of their own idea it is campaigned to spread to the other teenagers around the globe as the new “cool” thing to do or wear. On the video it used the example of the Insane Clown Posse. Crowds of teenagers went to see this local band and then MTV popularized it to be the “cool” way to rebel against society. ... “Freedom of thought” and “freedom of expression” are not really allowed in a monopolized system because once something is created it is brought into everyone else’s eye so they can be a part of the new “cool” thing to do. ... I think in the world today it is extremely hard to be a good Christian and avoid everyone that is trying to make you into “cool.
