The Hours Often times when an award winning novel is produced into a Hollywood motion picture, the outcome is often less than desirable. The Hours, a novel by Michael Cunningham is an exception to this rule. While the screenwriter for “The Hours” did a marvelous job of converting a novel full of heavy wording and mounds of subtext, there were still multiple differences between the two. ...
