Should they allow their personal views of a current or past political or social event affect the brush strokes or ending testimony of their work? ... This painting was intended to reflect social and political history and I believe that the artist has the right to choose to do so. I feel that the artist’s intentions and views at the beginning of a project is the driving force behind their aspirations and it is these personal goals that give us diverse complexity in art.
