Psychology in a way helped me open up my eyes to the way the world thinks, does things, and acts. I now see why and how peoples viewpoints can be so different. For the most part, there are only two man way s of thinking. The Eastern way, and the Western way. The East as described is Asia, and most places east of Europe until you reach America. The West starts of in Europe, crosses the Atlantic and into the Americas, they are the more civilized in their eyes. It is very important to distinguish the two because beliefs travel with cultures, and cultures differ on locations, and if your culture is totally opposite that of another then most certainly are your beliefs. The main controversy starts in the belief of how the brain and mind work in relative of each other. In the East, it is believed that the brain is a function of the mind. That thoughts are energy, they are located at different frequencies, and humans can either tune in, or tune out any time we want.
