HEIDI THE TIGER-HEARTED
A friendly personality, a ready smile, and a great tiger stripe jacket. Heidi Alyse Weinstein is approachable and personable, but don’t let her youth (she is a freshman this year at UMASS Lowell) and those big brown eyes fool you, just underneath is a determined and strong young woman, who will never lie down and take what is simply laid before her.

When I asked Heidi what she thought of herself she replied, “I think I am easy to get along with, I treat people with respect as long as they treat me with respect, I will go out of my way to help a friend in need, but I also do not tolerate negative energy so if someone is just bringing me down, and making me angry all the time I push them out of my life. ... ” As devoted as she is hardworking, Heidi is ready for the long haul.
As a youngster, and later, a high-schooler, Heidi was a dancer, and a gymnast, along with being on the diving team. ...
So Heidi decided that perhaps being a music teacher instead of a gymnast would be ok. ... Palmeroy, was evidentially a huge influence on young Heidi. “She was easy to relate to, she didn’t try to look down on you as a mere student,” says Heidi of Palmeroy, “she really tried to meet kids on their level to help you learn. ... ” Heidi and I both share a common goal for a secondary teaching degree (although mine in English, not Music) and so I immediately understood what she was describing.
Heidi’s mother and father live in separate states, although Heidi herself is hard pressed to explain how their relationship stands. ... ”
I gave Heidi a few moments to collect her thoughts; this was obviously not going to be an easy discussion. ...
I said ‘hey it’s Heidi’, and she started crying hysterically, I said, ‘Traci calm down, tell me what’s wrong, if this is about last night it was stupid, I am so over it.
