Thirty Years War
The Thirty Years’ War is a perfect example of how selfish governments and people can be. The Thirty Years’ War was both a conclusion of the Reformation and the performed a big change for Modern Europe. As one of the most historic wars that European history has ever seen, it started as a religious war, but turned into a vicious and selfish power struggle. The war changed modern Europe in four specific ways: religiously, socially, militarily and politically. The war eventually ended with the Treaty of Westphalia forming modern day Europe. The initial cause of the Thirty Years’ War was religion. ...
