With all the high priced athletes and billion dollar contracts it seems major sports are flourishing, but there are problems underneath the surface. “Despite all these signs of robust financial health, however, there are those who say the future stability of pro sports leagues may be in jeopardy. The threat comes from the system know as free agency(Worsnop 82).” Players are being paid enormous amounts of money but their leagues are losing money.
