Many people find that if they are raised, or raise their children in a strictly positive environment that they will grow up to be more impowered individuals and be more positive in their everyday lives. I feel that a child needs to experience both sides of society, as in the yin and yang of it. I think that you can find proof in personal experiences, observations of others, and literature. I have had many personal experiences, probably more than the average Joe. I feel that if i hadnt had these personal experiences, then i wouldnt be who i am today. There are certain things that i would like to change about myself, but the majority don't have to do with personal experiences. A classic example of such an experience, is burning your hand on the oven which happen to me when i was very young. I learned not to do it but, its not like it changed my life.
