Perfect World The Giver
Why would anyone want to live in a “perfect” world? ... Also some say how can you have a perfect world when everyone has their own definition of perfect? Living in a world with no colors, no smells, and no feelings can mean a lot of different things. ... In the book the main character, Jonas, is supposed to share his feelings with his “family” (I put the word family in quotation marks for the mere fact that it’s not a real family because it consists of no love) but after becoming The Giver he realizes that they really don’t know what feelings are (The Giver is the person in the community who is given the responsibility of all of the knowledge and experiences in the world.
