I had never felt pain like I was going through ever in my life and probably never will again. All I could think about was God how long is this pain going to last. Within minutes the pain got worse and the contractions were getting closer and closer. This was a very exciting and memorable time for me. I was about to give birth to my son. The doctors were trying to keep me as calm and relaxed as possible. My friends and family were all around for support but at the time I didn’t really want to talk and I couldn’t talk anyway. During these hours I was only allowed to have ice chips I couldn’t have anything to drink, I was miserable. The rail on the hospital bed became my friend because when the contractions came I would hold on the rail, if that would’ve been my son’s father’s hand I wouldn’t probably broke it.
