MICROSOFT SWOT ANALYSIS Introduction Dave’s Deli was established in 1989 by David Chin as a sole proprietorship when the first outlet was set up in the food court located at a shopping center in Kuala Lumpur. Its image and concept of serving “real home-cooked deli food” and also being the first of its kind in Kuala Lumpur then, soon managed to create a ‘niche” market of its own. The initial success and market acceptance prompted David, to pursue the development of Dave’s Deli as a viable dining alternative to other established food operators. ... It was decided then that a 5-year plan be set in motion to develop Dave’s Deli into Malaysia’s very first home-grown “deli restaurant” chain serving quality, consistent and value meals that had made it famous in the very first place.
