Samuel de Champlain Samuel de Champlain, the author of Voyages (1604), is interpreted to be a zealous man in the form of exploration and navigation. It is seemed that when writing this document he had deciphered a way to prosper where his predecessors have failed. It also could be said that his belief on the inclinations of men differing to their point of view of ambition, is how they varied. I believe his intentions on writing this document was to always keep an open mind to abstract ideas. It teaches to learn not only by ones mistakes but by evaluating all failures as a whole, and overcoming those obstacles where others have not.
