English Oral I have to win. Good morning Mrs. Lurie and class. Would all 100 meter runners please make their way to the starting blocks. This is it, my chance to shine. As I rise from my seat, my legs feel week, so week that I can hardly stand. It feels like someone just put a thousand knifes through my stomach. But I have to focus; I have trained to hard to throw this all away because of nerves. I start to loosen up, to psych myself up, and this is it, my chance to shine. On you mark. As I start to take my position I realize that for years I have trained for this day, for these few seconds. Sweat runs down the side of my face and falls down onto the floor. Watching it fall feels like an eternity in itself.
