I think there is sufficient evidence in sources A – F because even though there is some biased in those sources there is also very much truth in the sources A – F. People joined the anti – war movement because they were against the war in Vietnam there were many reasons for people being against the war in Vietnam one of whitch is the war in Vietnam being on colour television screens this turned many people against the idea of war. Source A tells us that there were more and more fresh recruits that were scoring drastically low on intelligence tests and they would never be let into the normal peacetime army. Most soldiers were likely to die in the first month, considering the tour of duty in Vietnam was a year this is very bad. The vast majority of soldier deaths took place in the first six months, this was very bad as just as a young soldier was begging to gain some experience he would be sent home. This meant that it was very inexperienced soldiers fighting against vastly experienced guerrillas on their home ground. Straight away when I look at source C I realise that it is written by Richard Hamer who was an American journalist.
