From board games, to trains, to video games, children’s playtime has made a drastic change from the early eighties. Children now sit in front of a glowing box of color instead of on the seat of a swing. Children’s games have made a technological leap compared to where they used to be. Children’s interests have changed drastically since the eighties. More toys requiring batteries are the rage these days. Playstations, Gamecubes, and X-box’s have recently invaded homes. Found under Christmas trees and wrapped in boxes at birthday parties, these mind-numbing systems are becoming ubiquitous.
