Today I am the person I am mostly in part by my family, friends, girlfriends, sports, all sorts of stuff. I try to take something from every experience I have ever had and I try to remember some sort of good or something funny that happened there. My family has influenced me a lot to be a better person, by constantly pushing me to work harder. Without that I probably wouldn’t be graduating with my class, also I wouldn’t have a chance to play football in college. My friends have helped keep me out of any major trouble and helped me develop some strong friendships that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. I believe that the essential values are friendship, love some sort competition, trust, responsibly, and family. If people didn’t have these things then life wouldn’t be any good. People need friendships because it is a way that we can be part of something. We need companions, it is our nature, as human, to be social, not loners. Love is another big thing we need as humans. Without love there is no way to express how we feel about other people. It also allows us to share the most private things in our lives with the ones we love. Next is competition, Competition is a beautiful thing. Without competition the world would be a very dull place nobody would ever challenge anybody else to strive to work harder . I have a quote from Vince Lumbardy about competition its “ the harder you work the harder it is to surrender.” This quote has helped push me in all aspects of life. It relates back to competition because if u work hard for something to be better than everybody else, you become dedicated and wont want to give up because failure is not an option. Everyone is here for a purpose. I think that purpose is to fulfill the will of god. I cant say for sure what that will is. Everyone has their own weaknesses and strengths that he has given us and we need to use them for his will. The different strengths and weaknesses each of us have will help us work together and get ‘er done. All humans I believe are born good and pure, then depending on parents they either stay good or turn bad. Sometimes though its not always the parents who turn the kid bad it could be the friends that the kid starts hanging out with. If the kid has a broken home then its much harder for the parents to make their kid a good kid because the parents have such a negative attitude towards one another.
