Ordinary People
As the movie unfolded, I gained a good sense of who the characters truly were. There were several comparisons of the mother in and out of the home that really allowed me to see the mental makeup of this woman who wears “many masks”. The mother is a fake person as far as I’m concerned. Yes, we’re all fake in one way or another but she really goes all out in pretending her life is great when around others. A great example is when she was at the party having a good time and telling everyone that her family is well and headed in a strong direction.
