Christabel Analysis
After struggling through reading the poem “Lamia”, I decided to analyze “Christabel” instead It was much easier to comprehend and visualize what was happening. ... However, Romanticism style is clear and simple, yet I noticed a contrast of hidden secrets throughout “Christabel” used in symbolic form. ... When they get to the gate starting at line 123, Geraldine can not walk through and has to be carried into the court in Christabel’s arms. Maybe the gate was blessed against forced evil since Geraldine was fine before she got to the gate and again after she was carried through by Christabel.
