Meditation Two
MEDITATION TWO In meditation two Descartes first recalls from his first meditation that what he sees does not exist, that he has no body or senses and that perhaps the only certain thing remaining is that there is no certainty (Meditation two , 25). ... He then realizes though that in order for him to have these sort of doubts, he must certainly exist (Meditation two, 25). ... He concluded that there must be an “I” that can doubt and be deceived (Meditation two, 26).
