The 18th century heralded the beginning of important changes in history. At this time the Agrarian and Industrial revolutions took place causing many social and economical changes. Social effects of the Agrarian and Industrial Revolutions include population growth and movement and social class changes in the countryside directly in the whole society of Britain in general. Economic effects of the Agrarian and Industrial Revolutions include the development of new ideas that led to higher productivity, a change in economic thinking, the growth of capitalism and a growing role of the government in economic development.
