Bush’s REAL Motives on Iraq The talk with going to war with Iraq has been going on for almost two years now. However, there has been a lot of talk debating whether or not President Bush’s motives for war are actually true to his word. ... Bush continues to say how the only reason that war with Iraq is necessary is due to the fact that the Iraqi government is secretly making weapons of mass destruction which goes against the Nonproliferation Treaty which was made in 1968. However, there are many other various reasons determining why Bush is so eager to go to war with Iraq.
