1. Asexual Reproduction/ Sexual Reproduction During asexual and sexual reproduction to genes are carried in the chromosomes. The genes are consisted of exact copies from the parent and are passes along to the offspring. Asexual reproduction usual is an exact copy of the parent. With no visible difference between the offspring and the parent. With sexual reproduction offspring vary genetically from their parents. The behavior of chromosomes in sexual reproduction are much different in sexual than in asexual reproduction. Sexual reproduction allows two copies of genes, one from each parent to be put together to form a unique offspring. 2. Sex Chromosomes/ Autosomes Sex chromosomes and Autosomes are both chromosomes that exist in mother and father cells. This gives each parent to possibility of a unique offspring with the choice of being male or female. Sex Chromosomes consist of one pair of chromosomes. An X or a Y. Autosomes consist of 22 pairs of chromosomes compared to just two of sex chromosomes. 3. Haploid/ Diploid Cells Haploid and Diploid cells both contain chromosomes. These chromosomes come in full sets.
