Fire vs Ice
Have you ever stared into the heart of a campfire and wondered why fire could destroy something as solid as a chunk of wood? Or looked at a frozen lake and wondered how ice could devour the whole surface? Fire and ice are so different but, in contrast they both are different temperatures, they are symbols, and they are essential to human survival. The most obvious difference in fire and ice is temperature. A distressing thing about temperature is that if you stick your hand in fire; it will burn. If you sick your hand on ice; it will freeze.
