Blame the Big Mac.

Anonymous English Mrs. Professor March 12, 2004 Blame the Big Mac The American society is now composed of corporations who are afraid to sneeze, in fear that they may be sued. Of course, there are situations in which the occasional hero saves the innocent victims from an evil corporate empire that has contaminated one thing or the other. This, however, is not the case. Several ridiculous lawsuits have recently been issued to the family oriented McDonald’s food chain, in rebellion to the “Super Sized” menu. Those who have practically been living off of the menu claim that it has negatively effected their health. I say, their personal choices effected their health. Americans stereotypically want everything big, and in a hurry. McDonald’s was merely giving the people what they wanted, or so they thought, as the “Super Sized” menu became increasingly popular. The “Super Sized” menu increases the amount of fries and drink that are included with the sandwich in the desired combination. I, personally can not eat an entire “Super Sized“ meal. Respectably though, there are individuals who have much bigger appetites than I do. McDonald’s has several other meal options than their “Super Sized” menu. Going from one extreme to another, they offer several salads. These salads are big enough to be accepted as a meal.
