Work relationship policy: That means to explain to the employees that what made them enter MFS is its culture. In fact, MFS is adopting a « non star"policy in order to avoid the mercenary attitude of the so called « stars ». The starting salary isn’t thus the highest on the market and in case of a departure for a competitor, MFS applies some « financial sanctions ». The aim of MFS is to form a group of employees, to train them so as they acquire eventually the qualifications needed and become effective. In other words, MFS wants to get a star performance but with no star egos. These competent employees will be promoted according to MFS policies (due to its long tradition, MFS doesn’t tend to attract high-performers from other firms with huge compensation offers.
