The film the Sixth Sense is a dramatic thriller, with a surprise twist at the end. In this film a child psychologist (Willis) is determined to help a young boy who appears to be frightened, confused, and lonely. Through the course of the movie a relationship develops between Cole and The doctor. As their relationship is blossoming we begin to undercover the truth about what is bothering young Cole. While the doctor feels he is making some real progress with his patient, he also feels that his relationship with his wife is deteriorating. Finally the doctor realizes he needs to help his patient in order to save his marriage (at least he thinks). After he helps Cole face his fears the good doctor learns something about himself, that will change his life (or lack there of forever). The Sixth Sense begins with an opening scene that takes place in Dr. Malcolm Crowe’s house. It seems to be taking place in present day, just bye the look of their clothes, and other surroundings. This opening scene is important, because you learn a lot about the Dr.
