Dear Frank, After long and careful thinking, I have decided to write this letter to you today because I have missed our long, heated debates about various environmental issues. Ah, those were the days, weren’t they? We could just sit around on a couch, sip some hot chocolate, and speak our minds free of care. However, ever since the day I moved out of the house and into Rider University, things haven’t been the same. You’re stuck at Brookdale Community College during the days I’m off and I’m either stuck here at Rider or working. I would like to communicate via mail to bring up another issue we had always spoke of -- sports utility vehicles. First and foremost, I’d like to state that I have thoroughly looked over your argument on sports utility vehicles. As you’ve grown up, you’ve been constantly bombarded by different situations in which SUVs have proven to be nearly invaluable. As you observed your parents, you saw that each of them had an SUV. Your father admiringly bought one because of the fact that his first car was totaled by a drunk driver. He later had to have surgery on his left leg because of this accident. You played soccer for a long time, as did I. Your mother was actively involved of the transportation of many of our team members throughout many years. As we went over the bridge, I remember you always smiling because you could see the beautiful water and the ducks swimming that in an ordinary car you could not. You’ve seen numerous commercials showing SUVs going offloading and bonding with nature with this vehicle.
