1. Twin Studies 1. The Study of siblings and identical twins is useful because identical twins and siblings have very similar if not the same gene pattern. Scientists can learn very much from identical twins brought up in two different environments by observing how they behave and how they grow up to be. 2. Identical twins raised together stay very similar as one might think. They are being raised in the same environment and are being treated in the same manner. Naturally there wouldn’t be many distinctions between them considering that they started of with the same gene to begin with. The results were also closely comparable to twins raised apart which the reading indicates. Although two brothers who were raised by different families in two completely different environments they still had many similar qualities. They both enjoyed the same kind of jokes, same taste of appearance and they were very close in intelligence. 3. Parents often give the twins identical treatment. In some cases parents still buy identical clothes for the twins which makes them very if not too much similar to each other. They also provide identical environments for both children. 4. In many cases the twins are placed in two different foster homes but are still influenced under a very similar environment, thus the twins still grow up to be very similar. 5. The story of Jack and Oscar supports heredity more than environment because they were brought up in two total different environments and they still appear almost identical to one another. If environment would have been a stronger influence then both of them would have many differences between each other. 2.
