Opinion on King Henry VIII
Opinion I believe that King Henry VIII was one of the cruelest, most selfish, and terrible men to ever have ruled England. Every situation or problem that Henry had to deal with was handled in an irresponsible manner. ... This shows that Henry had was heartless and didnt show any compassion to those who should have been most respected in his life. If Henry knew what respect was, he would not have thrown thousands of monks and nuns onto the streets after he took over their churches. ... The Act of Supremacy was a down right unneccesary fiasco in my opinion. Henry wanted to divorce his wife due to that stupid reason of not producing a male heir. When the Catholic church refused to grant the divorce, since divorce is against the Catholic religious beliefs, Henry took matters into his own hands and took over the entire church. ... What Henry should have done was suffer the consequences of marrying someone when he was obviously not mature enough.
