THE WORST DAY OF MY LIFE My high school dream was to play collegiate football for a Division I university. I have played football ever since I was seven years old. My most preferred positions to play are middle linebacker and fullback. Long and hard football practices were actually enjoyable for it kept me in top physical shape. I had developed team leadership skills and a deep love for the game. My senior year in high school was very memorable. Our football team made it to the second round of the playoffs and I was selected to play in the North/South Football game. Everything that year was like a dream come true. All of that changed on February 18, 2003. I played catcher for the Varsity Baseball Team and batted fourth in the lineup.
