“Forsake not an old friend, for the new is not comparable unto him. A new friend is as new wine”: when it is old thou shalt drink it with pleasure. ... This means, every old and new friend you have lasts for ever.
The word friend, to me, could be defined in the dictionary. The dictionary definition of friend is (1) a person you know well and regard with affection and trust, (2) an associate who provides assistance, and (3) a person with whom you are acquainted with. Those definitions tell a lot about a friend, but they are from a book. There is more to a friend then what the dictionary defines. A friend should be someone who is always there for you and would tell you the truth no matter what circumstances. ... If you can find a friend that is honest, truthful and doesn’t backstab you, then you will have a true friend.
