Analysis of Speech

There are many important aspects to consider when writing a speech. ... The following essay will use these criteria to evaluate my informative speech. The evaluation will be on what was successful, what was unsuccessful, and ways that I can improve for the next speech.
     Adapting your message to your audience is important to provide a successful speech (Trenholm 265). My speech was adapted to the proper audience. ... Establishing the two types of credibility, expertness and trustworthiness, are important to the success of a speech (Trenholm 269). I think I established both parts of credibility in my speech by being prepared and not coming across to my audience as insincere. Establishing the perception that the speaker is likeable and is someone that the audience can be comfortable with is another important aspect of speech giving, also known as attractiveness (Trenholm 270).
