A scholar and the adviser of Liu Bei, Zhuge Liang, considered the best scholar and adviser at the time was sent to persuade the ruler of Wu, Sun Quan to battle with Wei at Chibi. Zhuge Liang went to Wu and indeed, his plan of persuading Wu to battle with Wei worked even with all the discouragement to fight by most of the Wu scholars. ...
