Arya Shafie Law - Pd 6 Mr. Romack O.J. Simpson Movie Project The O.J. Simpson trial is known to man as being a controversial case. To most people the outcome was shocking and to others not. With the use of strategies and the help from his defense team, O.J. Simpson was able to prove his plead of "not guilty" and escape time in prison. Many strategies were used by the defense team in trial. The defense team chose to use these strategies in trial for many reasons. The outcome was not fully based on the evidence but rather on "jury nullification". The strategies used by the defense team in the O.J. Simpson case were exceptionally effective during trial. Johnnie Cochran, defense attorney of O.J., said Simpson is an innocent man that has been wrongfully accused. During trial, the defense team revealed names of several potential witnesses in court documents, saying that they had information that could exonerate Simpson.
