8 Men Out Summary The great Chicago White Sox team of 1919 is the said to be one of the greatest teams to ever play the game of baseball. This team will always be remembered for their exceptional talent but also for taking part in one of professional sports largest scandal. This scandal couldn’t of came at a worse time. This was now post wartime and money was becoming harder to come by. Many of the players on the White Sox were given a minimal salary that is just enough for them to survive.
