presidents of america
Warren Harding was the 29th president of the United States. He was established on March 4, 1921. He was president of America for 2 years (1921-1923). Harding's administration was riddled with scandals. The behaviour of several of his cabinet members brought huge disapproval against the president and the Republican party. Harding's wife, Florence Kling de Wolfe, was a powerful and controlling influence. She was rich and was a huge influence to Harding, some people believed that she forged Harding's political career, but Harding was unfaithful and had several affairs. These included fathering a child by Nan Britton, a woman 30 years his junior. In the summer of 1923 Harding was visiting Alaska when he received a coded message from Washington. The contents distressed him so much that he collapsed.
