Noah did everything just as God commanded him. ... Without Noah’s efforts throughout life there is no telling what would have happened to human kind. ... However, the faithfulness that Noah showed gained him favor in the eyes of God.
Since Noah walked with God, the Lord decided that he would command Noah to build an ark which would be the answer to rebuilding God’s kingdom on earth. Noah did just as he was commanded and built the ark to the exact dimensions that God had asked him. The people of Noah’s time denied that a flood would come to wash away all of the loving creatures that walked the warth and flew in the sky. Noah was ridiculed and made fun of by the people of his time. Noah did not let this detour him in his efforts. Noah dropped everything in his plans for the near future and began building the ark as soon as he was commanded to do so. When the ark was finished in the seven days allotted by the Lord, God punished the wicked and saved Noah and his family.

with him were trapped inside of the ark for a little more than a full year. When Noah did step outside he trusted that God had not let him down. ... When Noah finally did make it our of the ark, he built an altar on which he showed great love to God by offering burnt sacrifices of all the clean animals which he had taken on board with him. After God showed Noah that he was very pleased with him he offered a covenant to him saying that he would never again destroy the earth by way of flood.
