Child Discipline
In the United States of American, many problems are an issue, but the topic of this essay is one I feel very strong about. ... Spanking and other forms of corporal punishment have been taken away from the schools and homes because it supposedly is harmful to a child and instead replaced with weak useless methods such as “timeouts” etc. ... The United States of America has a law that states if any child is hit or spanked in any such manner even by their parents, they can go to jail. ... There is a saying in Nigeria, if a child wants to act like a goat then he/she is treated like one, but if the child acts like a child then he/she is treated like a child. ... So punishment should be a progressive continuation of discipline increasing or decline depending on how obedient the child is. ... And I feel that the methods we are using just are not the right tactic otherwise the problematic child rates we have would not be increasing as such.
