Google Survivors of the Internet Bust
As nearly everyone who has set foot on the “information superhighway” knows, Google is an Internet search engine, plus so much more. Stanford University graduate students Larry Page and Sergey Brin founded Google in September 1998 as part of a research project. Page and Brin saw the need for the average internet user to be able to navigate through the information. While the problem with many Internet tools at that time was the complexity, Page and Brin recognized that non-computer scientists had a need to use the Internet as well and they would need an easy to use search engine.
