Day At the Beach
Every summer a few friends and I would hang out at the beach and boogie board. ... We would pack a big lunch because we planned to stay all day long. ... However, one peculiar day, we knew there was a tropical storm off the coast and the waves were going to be huge. ... When we arrived at the beach, we could see that the waves were huge. ... We could only stand in one place for a very short time because the current was so strong it would carry us down the beach. ... At one point, we were so worn out, instead of heading back to the beach we went further out to float on the boards so we could catch our breaths. ... Finally we got back to shore and I did not get in the water for the rest of day.
