BLK. D HONORING AND REMEBERING The history of our world relates to these two essays, “Ancestors” by David Suzuki and “Remembrance” by Timothy Findley. Both these essays have great deal of information and fact from our history, and remembering the important aspects of our life. The history of the essay “Ancestors”. The remembering of remembrance and About my family history. In this essay “Ancestors” David Suzuki talk about his family heritage, and how his parents were sent away with thousands of other Japanese. The cause of the ungodly act was that Japan had bombed Pearl Harbor in the United States, Canada had to order all Japanese into camps were they wouldn’t release any information for the safety of Canada and the United States. David then explains more about himself now being forth generation and a Canadian pure blood. When he goes to Tokyo he find that he isn’t used to being around his race of people. He doesn’t like the fact that everyone has black hair and the same smaller eyes, he liked being a minority back in Canada. He also find it nearly impossible to communicate with the people he look exactly alike which other Asians have a hard time figuring out.
