The Industry, Redux
The Industry, Redux SATELLITE TV vs. CABLE TV My first written assignment was about Satellite TV vs. Cable TV. The two companies in our area are Comcast cable TV and Satellite TV. Since I live on the other side of town the only type of pay TV available is satellite TV. This does not leave much room for variety. To make things worse we only have two satellite companies available to us and they are DirecTV and Dish Network . The service I chose is Dish Network. For a short period of time we tried DirecTV but they did not offer the same services as Dish Network. They did offer many other types of options but none were as convenient as Dish Network. There options over the internet made there service much more convenient than DirecTV. Some of the services they offer over the internet are making payments, making changes to your account, and purchasing pay per view events.
