Case Study
Stephanie Morency Communications 100 Dr. Donald C. Smith 2/18/2004 Amy is a 22 yr old female. She is an only child, and grew up with two very supportive parents who met her every desire and always told her she was special, and, more importantly, that she was always right. Amy is a pretty popular girl, but the friends she holds dearest are the ones who treat her like her parents did, meaning they always agreed with her and gave her her way. In high school, Amy was involved in just about everything, from cheerleading to yearbook. This had two effects on Amy; one, she made lots friends and learned how to handle a lot of responsibilities, and two, it reinforced Amy’s self-centered attitude and made her feel as if she needed to be involved in everything that goes on around her.
